Our Activated Pecans are 100% Australian and Certified Organic. They are soaked in filtered water for 24 hours and then are slowly dehydrated for 24 -28 hours below 60oC. Activation gives pecans a wonderful crunchy texture with a toasty nut flavour and delicate aroma.

These activated pecans are a crunchy and natural snack on their own or in your choice of trail mix in a combination of dried fruit and a great ingredient in raw foods, baking, sweet or savoury recipes.
For muesli, porridge, natural yoghurt, smoothies or acai bowls you can add chopped pecans. Also, chopped pecans can toss over your choice of salads or pasta dishes. These chopped pecans can be a delicious added to your home-baked bread, muffins, cakes or raw energy balls.
You can ground them to have a beautiful flour or ‘meal’, which is perfect for baking and adding to raw food, making pesto, dips.
